Logitech continues to add to their impressive lineup of video collaboration solutions. They recently announced three new products: Logitech Tap IP, Logitech Tap Scheduler, and Logi Dock – all scheduled to release in Winter 2021. Earlier in the year, they also announced the Logitech Scribe, an AI integrated whiteboard solution. In this edition of the ‘AV Digest’, Limitless AV will go over these four Logitech products and why they’re a must-have for Winter 2021.
Tap IP & Tap Scheduler
With Logitech’s new Tap IP and Tap Scheduler, meetings will be a snap! Tap IP, a network-based meeting room controller, and Tap Scheduler, a purpose-built scheduling panel for any meeting space, have been recently added to Logitech’s impressive video collaboration portfolio.
Logitech Tap IP
Logitech Tap IP will let you join any meeting with ease. With an IP-based connection to your network, installation is easy. Boasting clean cable management and a spacious 10.1” display, it will fit on basically any desk or table while keeping a professional and clean look.
Logitech Tap Scheduler
Logitech Tap Scheduler is your new meeting information hub. Easily see meeting details and reserve a room for any kind of meeting at any time. LED lights make navigation a breeze, helping you find an available room from a distance. With a simple installation and an intuitive user experience, the Logitech Tap Scheduler is the purpose-built scheduling panel you’re looking for.
With many employees returning to the office setting, these new products were designed to make scheduling and joining video meetings incredibly simple in a hybrid workplace. Both the Tap IP and Tap Scheduler are compatible with industry-leading collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom Rooms, Robin, and Meetio.
Logi Dock
Logitech has unveiled the Logi Dock, a new all-in-one docking station that is tailored to the needs of the constantly growing hybrid workspace. Designed to take up as little space as possible and eliminate desktop clutter, the Logi Dock delivers a robust set of features. These include:
· Connect up to five (5) USB devices and two monitors
· One-touch to Join (Instantly join any meeting)
· Simple mute controls
· Camera On/Off controls
· Built-in noise-cancelling speakerphone
· Sync up with Logi Tune
This winter, Logitech’s Logi Dock will declutter your desktop and make video conferencing as easy as a push of a button. Upon launch, the Logi Dock will be available in graphite and white colour variants.
Logitech Scribe
The traditional whiteboard can be found in most conference rooms and classrooms, ready to accept scribbled or drawn input to aid in the development of constructive ideas in the room. But what about remote participants, who will undoubtedly become a part of the post-pandemic commercial and educational landscape?
Logitech Scribe is a dedicated whiteboard camera that gives everyone — in-room or remote — a flawless view of the board. It uses integrated artificial intelligence to make the presenter semi-transparent while boosting content written or drawn on the whiteboard. The Scribe camera resembles a simple white wall-mounted angle-poise lamp that hangs over the whiteboard to be digitised.
If you have a Zoom Rooms or Teams Rooms installation, you can use the Bluetooth share button to start a whiteboard session that is automatically shared to the video meeting. You can still share Scribe material to a Zoom or Teams meeting on your desktop, but you’ll have to manually pick the second content camera.
